At My Fingertips
The Progress Pride flag has been designed by Daniel Quasar as an evolution of the Pride flag.
First create the 1979 version of the Pride Flag:
It is a variation of the very first version, which was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 and had 8 colors. The one we are interested in, which is used as a background for the Progress Pride Flag, has 6 horizontal stripes. From the top to the bottom, the stripes use the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The red is a "pure red" (therefore you can use the one from the library), while the other colors are specified below.
Browse the Style Guide on this page to learn more about the design of the Progress Pride Flag. It consists of the traditional six-stripe rainbow flag with a chevron along the hoist that features black, brown, light blue, pink, and white stripes.
The chevron's stripes should be half the size of the horizontal stripes. The light blue and the brown stripe should be at the left-side corners of the basic flag.
Hint: while the ultimate flag looks simple, it might actually be tricky to get its design right. You will benefit from creating beforehand functions for the more basic shapes you might need (e.g., a parallelogram). Make sure those work in isolation, before attempting to put everything together.
